Indications of German's Thyroid drops (Drops 548)

• For complaints of Intoxication of thyroid glands with trembling of the hands, Thyrotoxicosis
• It helps to maintain the normal functioning of Thyroid gland.  
• Stimulates and Supports Thyroid 

Mode of Action of Ingredients in German's Thyroid drops (Drops 548)

Atropinum: goggle-eye, fits of perspiration, strong pulse. It helps in proper functioning of thyroid.

Calcarea Iodata: Its action on enlarged glands, and is especially indicated for enlarged tonsils honey-combed with little crypts.

Hekla Lava:  Effective for the constitution of fibrose struma.

Iodium : Specific reaction in hyperfunction of thyroid glands due to the excessive action of iodine. 

Lapis Albus: Effective for the constitution of fibrose struma.

Lycopus Virg(Bugleweed): Strong pulse and tachycardia, as they are usually found in thyreotoxicosis.

Natrum Chloratum:  Effective in palpitations emaciation, irritability. The general action of the remedy is characterized by its regularizing effect on the function of thyroids.

Thyroidinum: Effective in thyroid dysfunction, produces anemia , emaciation, muscular weakness, it also helps in regulating  influence over the mechanism of the organs of nutrition growth and development.

Dosage of German's Thyroid drops (Drops 548)

First week - 10-15 drops with some water 4 times daily before meal. 

After one week the same dose 2-3 times daily before meal, or, as directed by the physician.
